大手住宅メーカー「積水ハウス」（本社・大阪市）に勤務する在日韓国人男性（４５）が３１日、顧客の男性による差別的な発言で傷つけられたとして、慰謝料３００万円などを求める訴えを大阪地裁に起こした。同社は訴訟に参加しないが、法令順守の観点から、弁護士費用を全額負担するなど男性を支援する。

　訴えによると、男性は同社が建設・販売した物件のアフターサービスを担当。昨年２月、修理の報告のため、大阪府内で賃貸マンションを所有する顧客の５０代男性を訪ねた。この際、男性の名刺を見た男性から「お前、何人や」「名前は名刺に小さく書け」などと言われた。

　同社は男性の報告を受け、「相手がお客様であっても、問題は大きい」と事態を重視。上司が電話や手紙で連絡を取るなどして、円満解決を目指したが、誠意ある対応を得られなかった。男性本人や同僚社員が出廷するために職場を離れる時間も勤務に算入するという。

国内で働く外国人が言われ無き迫害を受ける中、この企業の姿勢は良いと思う。うちの会社も外国人が増えてきたので、せめてこの位の従業員を守る気概が欲しい。
